VisitorsVisiting Hours: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM and from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM daily. Please help us maintain the healing environment by having visitors refrain from loud noises or voices. All visitors must check in upon arriving, at which point, each visitor will receive a badge. Each patient is allowed a maximum of two (2) visitors. If others would like to visit, please ask your visitors to take turns. Your PropertyA closet is provided for your clothes and other items. We prefer that you leave your valuables at home, however Lompoc Valley Medical Center is happy to provide a secure storage of your items if necessary. Please ask your aide or nurse for assistance. Room TelephoneTelephones are provided upon request. Please ask your aide or nurse for a phone and one will be provided. Your phone is programmed to make local calls only. Please tell your callers to call the main hospital line at 805-737-3300 and ask for your bed number or name. We are happy to transfer the call to you. WiFiLompoc Valley Medical Center is pleased to provide you and your guest FREE WiFi service. Using your wireless device, simply connect to LVMC-FreeNet. No logins, no passwords, and no dollars. CCU and LDRPFor our Critical Care Unit (CCU) or one of our Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) RoomsVisiting rules are a little different for LDRP and CCU, please contact your nurse or aide for details. We have provided a MP3 jack for music in the room. Simply plug your player in the GOLD wall jack provided. We have limited the volume to keep the environment comfortable for all of our patients. Televisions, High Definition and MusicYour patient room is equipped with a large format digital television. Many of the channels are in HIGH DEFINITION, including our local channels. Additionally, you will find several music channels that that may aid in your relaxation and recovery. Patient EntertainmentWe have a Patient Entertainment system for all of our patient rooms. We are proud to provide this feature for your comfort. Simply have a friend bring in any portable DVD player and plug it into the Yellow, White, and Red jacks on the wall, our use an HDMI cable.
Lompoc Valley Medical Center is happy to lend cables. A driver’s license is required when checking out a cable. Please talk to your aide or nurse. Please be considerate if you are sharing a room with another patient. Your comfort is our top priority! |
