Resident celebrates 102nd birthday
Amid festive balloons, and strawberries and ice cream, longtime Lompoc resident Enrique “Henry” Molina celebrated his 102nd birthday at Lompoc Valley Medical Center’s Comprehensive Care Center, where he has lived since 2003.
Molina was joined by nieces Elisa Kuster and Connie Berroteran, great-niece Michele Heter and kind family friend Sara Rodriguez. The centenarian’s baby brother, 89-year-old Isaias Rios, was in Marian Extended Care and unable to join the party, but sent Molina’s favorite pan dulce — the Mexican sweet rolls he loves. Isaias says he wants to reach 100 years, as his brother has, according to family members.
