We’re proud give a big Staff Shout Out to Senior Director of Marketing and Philanthropy Heather Woolsey, MBA, who was honored recently as part of the Healthy Lompoc Coalition’s 20th anniversary celebration.

For two decades, the Lompoc Valley Community Healthcare Organization’s Healthy Lompoc Coalition has brought people and organizations together with a shared goal: making the Lompoc Valley a healthier place to live, work and raise a family. Heather has been an important part of that work for several years, helping build connections between healthcare, philanthropy, community organizations and the people we serve.

In accepting the recognition, Heather shared a message that reflects what the Healthy Lompoc Coalition is all about:

“The health of a community extends far beyond the walls of a hospital. A healthy community is built through strong partnerships and people willing to work together in support of Lompoc and those who call it home.”

Heather also thanked the LVCHO team, past and present, LVMC and Lompoc Hospital District Foundation leadership, and her own team for believing in the work and “continually turning ideas into action.”

Heather was honored alongside two other longtime community partners: Fidel Villanueva of the Santa Barbara County Public Health Department and Maribel Landeros of the Santa Barbara County Department of Behavioral Wellness and the LVCHO Board. Together, the three were recognized for the partnership, leadership, service and commitment they have brought to the health and well-being of our community.

Congratulations, Heather, Fidel and Maribel -- and congratulations to the Healthy Lompoc Coalition on 20 years of collaboration and community impact!
