Family-Friendly Breastfeeding Celebration Fair at LVMC Aug. 29

In celebration of World Breastfeeding Month, Lompoc Valley Medical Center, WIC, County of Santa Barbara Health and the Lompoc Valley Community Healthcare Organization (LVCHO) are hosting a Breastfeeding Celebration Fair.

The fair will be held from 3 to 5 p.m., Friday, Aug. 29, 2025 in the Ocean’s Seven Café of Lompoc Valley Medical Center, 1515 E. Ocean Ave.

The free family friend event is packet with activities and resources for the whole family, with special attention to new moms and breastfeeding infants. Whether you are expecting, currently breastfeeding, supporting someone who is breastfeeding or are pregnant and considering your options, this fair is for you.

What to expect:

• Helpful resource tables and family support info
• Certified Car Seat Checks (first come, first served)
• English and Spanish breastfeeding support circles
• Community partners, including the Lompoc Public Library, Mom’s Club of Lompoc, the YMCA and more
• Access to lactation consultants, mental health experts and registered nurses
• Enroll in WIC (if eligible)
• Exciting raffle prizes tailored for new moms

This is a chance to connect and learn from local lactation and labor and delivery experts in a welcoming and supportive environment. Light refreshments will be offered and reservations are not required!
