Foundation’s Flower Valley Golf Classic seeking players, sponsors

Registration is now open for the Lompoc Hospital District Foundation’s Flower Valley Golf Classic and tickets are available for the tournament’s banquet and auctions on May 29, 2026.

The event at the Mission Club in Vandenberg Village is the major fundraising effort of the nonprofit Foundation, which was established in 1990.

The day-long classic includes 18 holes of golf at the stunning course; a tasty buffet dinner and live and silent auctions.

The Foundation is raising funds this year to help Lompoc Valley Medical Center open the new Lompoc Health – Village Center. The health clinic in Vandenberg Village will include expanded clinic space, additional primary care providers, specialty services and a walk-in urgent care, among other services. The Village Center will play a vital role in meeting the region’s growing healthcare needs and ensuring quality care remains close to home for patients.

Registration for the golf portion of the day is $175. The golfing portion includes a putting contest and various chances to win prizes throughout the day. The entry fee also includes a tee prize, lunch, a round of golf and a buffet dinner. Anyone may attend the evening’s banquet and auctions with the purchase of a $50 dinner ticket. Unique auction items this year include an aerial sightseeing flight around the Lompoc Valley, a PCPA package, a sports fishing trip from the Santa Barbara Harbor, tour tickets to the USS Midway, membership to the Santa Barbara Natural History Museum and more.

• Auction donations, including items, gift certificates, experiences, or services for the live and silent auctions.
