Personal Quote

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Most of my experience has been in the fields of substance abuse treatment and domestic violence; however, I also work with individuals, couples and families, and adolescents. I use a family systems approach to therapy primarily.

Besides formal education and training in Clinical Psychology, I bring to my work a broad-based life experience having grown up in the inner city and having lived and worked extensively throughout the United States, Mexico, Central, and South America. I offer a multicultural, multidisciplinary approach to therapy many other clinicians are unable to provide. I am bilingual in Spanish and English and offer weekend and evening office hours by appointment.

During our first session, I will make a thorough assessment of the presenting problem and seek to establish a relationship of trust and empathy with you. Feel free to contact me for further information. I am married with two children in college and currently reside in Lompoc, CA. BA in Literature from Reed College in Portland, OR, and MA Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Santa Barbara. Published author of Two Trains Running, a book of poetry.
