Robin L. Barnes, M.S.N., APRN, FNP-C, is an experienced and dedicated board-certified family practice nurse practitioner with over three decades of clinical nursing experience. In this advanced practice clinical role, Ms. Barnes treats adults, children and senior patients for a variety of health and wellness needs. She now cares for patients at Lompoc Health - Urgent Care. Prior to joining the Lompoc Health clinic team, Ms. Barnes worked in primary care for a Federally Health Qualifying Agency clinic under the Nurse Corps for underprivileged patients in Humboldt County, CA.

Ms. Barnes started her nursing career working as a Hospital Corpsman for the U.S. Navy at Camp Pendleton, CA, later earning her Associate of Nursing and Registered Nurse degree at Palomar College. She has worked as a board-certified registered nurse in the acute hospital settings such as oncology, medical surgical, DOU (Direct Observation Unit), ICU and Emergency services throughout Southern California. Just prior to obtaining her MSN and FNP she worked in Case Management, employing her wound care skills in the home setting. Residing in the Lompoc Valley since 2019, Ms. Barnes is deeply excited to grow her career to provide the highest quality of care to her patients and families. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
