Every birth is unique—and so is every family’s vision for the experience. At Lompoc Valley Medical Center, we honor your preferences and strive to provide a safe, comfortable, and personalized environment for labor and delivery. From flexible pain management options to private LDRP suites and support for your birth plan, we’re here to make your birthing experience as empowering and memorable as possible.

LDRP Suites Our private LDRP rooms ensure continuity of care from admission through recovery. Rooms feature private bathrooms and calming environments tailored for families.

Arriving at the Hospital - Call the OB unit at 805-737-3395 when you’re on your way. Enter through the Emergency Room entrance.

Labor Pain Management Options - Whether you choose natural childbirth or desire medication, we support your decision. Options include:

• Relaxation and positioning
• IV pain medication
• Epidural and regional anesthesia
• Local anesthetics

Visitors - We value the presence of your loved ones. During labor, two support persons are allowed. Quiet hours are observed daily from 2–4 PM.
